Subclass 187 Visa: Three streams to apply

If you are looking to apply for this visa , you have to apply under one of the below-given streams.

1) The Temporary Residence Transition Stream

Candidates who are sponsored/nominated by their employer for permanent residency can apply under this stream.

If you already are the holder of Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa (subclass 482) or Temporary Work (Skilled) Visa (subclass 457) (not granted under labor agreement arrangements) or related associated Bridging visa then you might be eligible to apply under this visa.

You must have worked with your employer for:

1. Continuously three years in the same designation you were nominated by an employer before the nomination is made.
2. Continuously two years in the same position you were being nominated by the employer, while you are a holder of Subclass 457.

2) The Direct Entry Stream

Candidates can apply under this stream if candidates don’t get qualify under the Temporary Residence Transition Stream. This stream is for candidates who have never worked or were  in Australia.

3) The Agreement stream

Potential candidates who are holders of subclass 457 visa and get nominated or sponsored under Labor Agreement by an approved employer can apply under this stream.

Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme RSMS Visa Application Process

The interesting applicants have to provide all the required documents mentioned in Subclass 187 visa checklist to support the statements made in the visa application. Candidates can check the below-mentioned  checklist:

1. If the documents are not available in English language, candidates must submit translated English documents by accessing authority.
2. Candidates must submit latest passport biographical pages or any travel documents.
3. A positive skills assessment for the nominated occupation must be submitted.
4. Candidates need to provide proofs that they have competent English at the time of receiving the invitation.
5. The family members who are added in the visa application and are more than 18 years of age have to submit the proofs of Functional English proofs.
