Nova Scotia In-Demand Occupation List is aligned with the Federal Government’s Express Entry program and consists of all the occupations that have high demand in the Nova Scotia province. It consists of the occupations that are classified with National Occupation Classification (NOC).
Applicant who is an international Skilled Worker, International Student or looking forward to working in Nova Scotia, have to meet the points-based system in order to be eligible to apply for Nova Scotia Immigration under Express Entry.
Nova Scotia welcomes the skilled workers to the province through the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). Nova Scotia Express Entry Stream (Category B) is the popular steam and is aligned with the Federal Express Entry Stream.

Applicants who apply under the Express Entry stream have to submit their profile in the Express Entry system and along with that, all the eligibility requirements need to be content. An applicant must have required qualification and at least one year of work experience in any of the occupations that are listed on the occupation list.
This stream demands an arranged employment offer from the applicant supported by a positive labor Market Impact Assessment from a Nova Scotia employer. The employment offer must be in a National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skills Level 0, A, or B occupation.
This stream demands at least one year of work experience (or 1,560 hours) or approximately, equals to a part-time paid work experience in the last ten years in one of the opportunity occupations.
