Alberta issues 132 invitations to Express Entry candiadtes in the December 5 Draw

Alberta province held a draw under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee program on December 5, 2019, and invited 132 express entry candidates in the federal Express Entry Pool. Express Entry candidates with CRS 400 and above received invitations or Notifications of Interest (NOIs).

Under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP), the Alberta Express Entry Stream selects the candidates with a profile in the Federal Express Entry System. Canada’s Federal Express Entry System manages the pool of candidates of three main economic immigration categories – the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canada Experience Class.

Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination from Alberta province get an additional 600 points towards their CRS score which effectively increases their chances to get invitaion to apply for Canada permanent residence in the following draw from the Express Entry Pool. This score is comparatively less than the cut-off score for draws which took place under the Canada Express Entry System this year.

AINP doesn’t demand an employment offer or previous work experience in Alberta; though it surely gives weigh to the candidates with the following requirements:
