Alberta’s AINP invited 374 Express Entry candidates in its Latest September 25 Draw

The details about Latest Alberta Express Entry Draw held on September 25 were published by the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. On September 25 Draw, a total of 374 invitations were issued to candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System as low as 400 to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence status in Canada.

Alberta Express Entry System

AINP is one of the popular PNPs of Canada that invites skilled workers who can give their share in the economy of Alberta. Canada Provincial Nominee Programs allow province and territories to nominate a set of immigration candidates for Canada permanent residence each year. All the provinces which are a part of Canada PNPs have at least one stream linked to Canada’s Express Entry system, which monitors the pool of candidates for three main skilled worker immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class.

Last month, AINP conducted three draws through its Express Entry Stream and issued invitations to 852 express entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. The Alberta Express Entry Stream allows the AINP to look for skilled workers in the Federal Express Entry Pool having strong ties to Alberta or the ones working in an occupation that is in priority in Alberta. Candidates can apply for AINP without any job offer in Alberta, but having one may escalate your chances of being invited.

Alberta Provincial Nominee Program 

With a provincial nomination, candidates get additional 600 points under Express Entry’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). CRS score of a candidate helps in determining the ranking in the Express Entry pool and an additional 600 points increase the chances of receiving an invitation to apply for Canada permanent residence. The lowest-ranked candidate in September 25 draw who received invitation had a score as low as 400. In comparison to the cutoff of the Latest Express Entry draw, which was 464, the AINP score is drastically low.
