In the recent Express Entry Draw held on May 29, a total of 3,350 candidates have been invited to apply for Canada permanent residency. This time the minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) for this draw was 470.

All-Express Entry programs include candidates from the economic –class immigration categories which are popular among the applicants and managed by the Express Entry System – the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class. Express Entry draws take place every two weeks and all programs draw is managed under the Express Entry system. The previous draw which took place on May 15 around 500 invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued and was restricted to candidates in the Federal Skilled Trades Class.
Sometimes the time duration gets extended between the draws, the Express Entry system pool gets enough time to refill high-scoring candidates resulting in raising the cut-off score. EE candidates can escalate their CRS score; receiving nomination under Canada’s Provincial Nominee program is one of the valuable processes to attain more points. Additional 600 points are offered to candidates (who have provincial nomination) in their overall score that assures an invitation to apply (ITA) to apply for Canada permanent residency.
In the meantime, EE candidates have received ITAs to apply for PNP via express-entry aligned streams of the provinces like British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.
