NEW BRUNSWICK PNP DRAW 2021

New Brunswick started accepting PNP applications from the skilled worker stream. It is open for the PGWP Holders who are working at various job positions that fall into the category of skill level-D.  WHAT IS FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER STREAM?  The candidates who have work experience in the job sectors as a full-time employee or any similar part-time employee experience qualify for this stream. Starting from managerial jobs in various industries to working as an executive, associate or off the management team, this stream consists of all types of employees. Every job is classified through levels as well as a National Occupation Classification (NOC) number is assigned to each of them. Skill Levels C and D occupations include semi- and low-skilled workers in the trades, primary and manufacturing industries, sales and services, as well as certain clerical and assistant categories. The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) will accept applications from temporary residents who meet the following criteria:

  • you meet all eligibility criteria of the NB Skilled Worker stream;
  • a high school diploma, and foreign education needs to come with an Educational Credential Assessment that is less than five years old.
  • you are a graduate of a New Brunswick designated post-secondary institution (DLI);
  • you hold a PGWP that was issued upon graduation from that New Brunswick institution.
  • at least one year of work experience, unless you graduated from a New Brunswick DLI with at least a one-year degree, diploma or certificate program.
If the candidate gets all the above things right, a CRS is calculated which finalises his or her eligibility. There are certain factors which determine the CRS of a candidate.
  • Age
  • Educational Qualifications
  • Work experience
  • Language proficiency (English/ French)
Apart from this, there are some factors which will provide extra points to the candidate.Being between the age of 19 to 55 for the program will award scores to the candidate. Also, New Brunswick is a bilingual province which means both English and French are considered over there. Additional points are given to the candidate who has a CLB 4 in both the languages. But it is not a compulsion. Having proficiency in any of the above mentioned languages will work. For information, stay connected.
