Ontario, the popular province which is home to Ottawa, Canada's capital, conducted its latest invitation of rounds on February 13, 2020, and issued a total of 486 invitations to Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence. Under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, OINP issued invitations called Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to eligible immigration candidates. Express Entry candidates who qualified under the Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 467 and 471. In this Latest OINP Draw, a total of 10 different National Occupation Classifications (NOCs) were targeted.

Candidates who received invitations in this draw get a provincial nomination from Ontario; they get additional 600 points towards their overall CRS score which would increase their chances to receive invitation to apply for a Canada permanent residence in the next Express Entry Draw. To be considered for a provincial nomination under the Human Capital Priorities Stream, you need to first submit a profile in the Express Entry pool.
